White, worn and weathered beauty

A secret wishing pool and weathered white picket fence...

A white shingled house with cheery blue shutters...

....and another pair of shutters against baby pink...

A happy bird sunning on her own private ocean terrace...

and this beautifully weathered boat in a field on Cape Cod...

Beautiful pictures!
Worn, rusty, weathered, old, deserted, broken...
All of those I'm a sucker for, on pictures, not so much in my own home if it needs to be fixed. :)
Great pictures for a dull and rainy day.

Best,

Annelie

I LOVE every single one of these images, Mary. Seriously, I do. But I think the one with the shutters is my favorite. The textures, the patterns, the lace in the window – just wonderful. I do know what you mean about autumnal acceptance, lol. At some point, you have to give in and just start enjoying it. Even though you don't really want to.

Thanks so much for stopping by the new blog – much appreciated! :)

These are gorgeous Mary! I love the first two ... peeling and weathered white paint does it for me every time!

Have a great week! xo
